Along with celebrating 20 years in business, in the same location, Ian Blackford’s Busy Bee Cleaners in Spall Plaza is taking on a whole new direction as a leader in the industry. Soon you’ll see a new sign saying "Busy Bee - Eco Green Cleaning Center".

The company has just purchased new elite dry-cleaning equipment using an alternative solvent that is environmentally safe by using EcoSolv fluid. Busy Bee is the first in the Okanagan to install and operate the new system that cleans better and is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, has no odor and leaves clothes feeling soft.

EcoSolv is so gentle on fabrics, it helps garments last longer. The new system will not pollute the air, soil or water and is 100% biodegradable. The machine, manufactured in Italy was recently shown for the first time in Las Vegas at the World Clean 2003 show.
